Day 1 – Benguela

Day 2 – Lobito/Benguela> Lubango

Day 3 – Lubango > Tunda Vala > Lubango
Breakfast. We will take advantage of today to get to know Lubango better, a city located
on the plateau of Huíla, we will visit, among other points of interest, the “famous” Cristo Rei and the
chapel of Nossa Senhora do Monte. Lunch. In the afternoon we will visit Tunda Vala, a crevice
on the cliff that separates the province of Huíla from the province of Namibe, which provides us with
a breathtaking view of a magnificent landscape. During our visit to the region of
Lubango, we will have the opportunity to see some indigenous tribes, such as the Mumuila, Himbe or
the Mucubal. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 4 – Lubango > Humpata > Namibe
After breakfast, we'll set off on a trip to Namibe, crossing the Serra
from Leba, famous for its altitude, its beauty and also for the road that winds through it. Break
for a light lunch. Passage through Humpata, one of the first colonization zones
Portuguese and Boer in this part of the interior of Angola. During today, we will be able to see, the
nomadic and cattle raising tribes - Mumuila and Mucubais. Arrival in Namibe. dinner and
accommodation.
Day 5 – Namibe
Breakfast. Beginning of the visit to Namibe (formerly Moçamedes), a region mainly
desert, with a cool and dry climate. Light lunch. During this day, we will feel the great
climate change and we will see Welwitschia Mirabili, an endemic plant
that survives the harsh conditions of the desert. The longevity of Welwitschia Mirabilis is so
so large that some of the oldest specimens are estimated to be 2000 years old. We will return to
Lubango. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 6 –Namibe > Lucira > Benguela
Breakfast. Departure to Benguela, along the coastal road, discovering the
Lucira beach. Lunch break. Continuation of the trip, visiting Dombe Grande. dinner and
accommodation in Benguela.
